There are 500,000 children living in foster care in the United States

There are 500,000 children living in foster care in the United States. Only 2% of them will go on to earn an undergraduate degree. That’s a very dismal number that becomes even more alarming when you compare it to the national average of roughly 39% (per the 2015 US Census).

Blavin Scholars is chipping away at that educational gap by helping post-foster-care youth attend college. You, too can help. Visit BlavinScholars.org to learn more.
