Wondering about the pros and cons of resistive touchscreen technology? Here you go…
Pros: It’s cost-efficient, accurate, works with any type of pressure on screen (finger, fingernail, stylus, gloves, etc); it’s Plug-and-Play compatible with Windows 7/8; it has legacy OS support.
Cons: It’s optically not as clear as some other types of touch technologies due to a 2-layer construction of glass/thin polycarbonate; it’s not as easy to activate as other touch technologies due to physical pressure being required; the top layer can be damaged easier than glass.
